Good Hope council adopts 2024–2025 budget in unanimous vote

At a Sept. 9 regular meeting at Good Hope City Hall, the City of Good Hope City Council voted unanimously to adopt the 2024–2025 budget.
Mayor Jerry Bartlett called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Council Member Susan Eller moved to approve the 2024/2025 budget; Council Member Taft Dillashaw seconded. A roll-call vote recorded unanimous yea votes by the council and the motion was approved. The minutes do not include dollar amounts or a budget breakdown.
The council also approved and adopted the minutes from the Aug. 26, 2024 meeting on a motion by Taft Dillashaw, seconded by Greg Brown; that motion likewise passed by unanimous roll call. Mayor Bartlett, Council Members Susan Eller, Taft Dillashaw and Greg Brown were recorded as present for votes. Council Members Terry Shabel and Eric Phillips and City Attorney Rita Nicholas were listed as absent. City Planner Corey Harbison was recorded as present.
Greg Brown moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:42 p.m.; Taft Dillashaw seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The meeting minutes were signed and attested as approved.
