The consent agenda included the enrollment and personnel reports, the first read of the 2026–2027 school calendar, and acceptances of donations: $2,000 and $3,000 from the HKIMS PTO to offset grade 4–5 and grades 6–8 field trips and events, and $100 each from the Haddam Women’s Club to HKIS and HKMS student activity funds for scholarships. The board also approved minutes from September 16, September 30, October 8 (two special meetings) and October 9 special workshop minutes.
Shawna Goldfarb moved to approve the consent agenda (with one item held), Lisa Connelly seconded, and the board approved the motion by a unanimous show-of-hands vote, 11-0-0. The minutes state the 2026 board calendar will be further reviewed and returned next month for a vote.
