On a motion by Josefa Scherer, seconded by Frank Hains, the committee voted unanimously to send the reviewed letter to town officials; Mallory recorded the roll call.
The committee also discussed logistics for the back-to-school picnic on Aug. 23 and suggested scheduling periods during the week of Aug. 12 for parents to pick up teacher assignments. The minutes do not state when the letter will be sent or to whom specifically beyond "Town Officials."
