The Otis Cultural Council, meeting in person on June 18, 2025, unanimously approved minutes and elected new officers while confirming the council’s FY26 funding allocation from the town. The meeting was called to order at 6:11 p.m.
Jeanne Randorf, identified in the minutes as the outgoing chair who led the meeting, reported that she requested an additional $1,000 from the town; the council will receive $6,000 for FY26. The allotment was presented as an update from the chair and not recorded as a separately moved or seconded motion.
On routine business the council approved the minutes of May 21, 2025. Susan Hicks moved to approve the minutes; Arlene Tolopko seconded, and the motion carried unanimously among the seven members present.
The council then conducted officer elections. Carole Burke nominated Jeanne Randorf for chair; Arlene Tolopko seconded and the nomination was approved by the members present. Jeanne Randorf subsequently nominated Carole Burke for secretary; Deb Fogel seconded and the membership approved that nomination as well. The minutes record both elections as passed by unanimous consent of those present.
The minutes note that Shanon (recorded variably as "Shannon") Albee’s term is up on June 30, 2025; Margie Klein is recorded as the member who will be sworn in to replace that seat. The minutes do not record a formal vote on the membership change; they state only that Margie Klein "will be sworn in as a new member."
The meeting adjourned at 7:04 p.m.; the minutes were submitted by Carole Burke.
