Public hearing held on Trussville’s 2024 stormwater management plan; council to consider at next meeting

Trussville staff opened a public hearing on the proposed 2024 stormwater management program plan and presented a brief summary of routine updates.
Staff said the plan reflects the city’s annual adoption that keeps the city in compliance with health/ADM requirements, maintains property inspections and trash pickup responsibilities and incorporates several small edits. The presenter (J.R.) noted an audit by ADM took place in recent weeks and said the audit “went very well.” No members of the public spoke for or against the plan during the hearing; the council closed the hearing and indicated official consideration and any formal vote will occur at the next council meeting.
Council did not take a final vote on the plan at this meeting; staff will place the item on a future agenda for formal adoption.
