Otis Planning Board raises application fees, approves minutes

The Town of Otis Planning Board voted Oct. 21 to raise several application fees and approved minutes for its Aug. 12 and Sept. 9 meetings.
The increases apply to Form A, Form B and Form C application fees, which the board moved to raise by $10 per lot, and add a $200 base fee for Form C. Hal Kobrin, Planning Board member, moved the fee change and Ross Knowles, Planning Board member, seconded; the motion passed with all in favor.
Kobrin told the board the increases were intended to cover processing costs, not to generate revenue. Ross Knowles recommended the $10-per-lot increase and members agreed that public notice and mailing costs should be reimbursed by applicants.
The board also approved the minutes from Aug. 12, 2024, and Sept. 9, 2024; both motions were made by Ross Knowles, seconded by Hal Kobrin, and passed unanimously.
The board took no additional formal action on other agenda items and adjourned at 7:47 PM.
