The Clovis Municipal Schools Board of Education voted to reorganize its leadership tonight, electing Sean Hamilton president. Terry Martin was selected as vice president and Cindy Osborne as secretary; each swore the oath of office administered during the meeting.
The nominations were moved and seconded and each office was approved by roll call. In the vote for president, President Cordova voted yes, Vice President Hamilton abstained, Secretary Martin voted yes, Member Osborne voted yes and Member Wiggle voted yes; the motion carried. Subsequent roll calls confirmed the vice president and secretary appointments with recorded yes votes and a small number of abstentions on individual ballots.
Board members and administration congratulated the new officers and completed the required oath and paperwork before moving on to the rest of the agenda. No further formal action was required on the reorganization beyond the roll‑call votes and oath administration.
The reorganization was procedural; the board proceeded to routine business after completing officer appointments. The next regular meeting was set for July 28 at 5:30 p.m.
