The Coolidge City Council on March 11, 2025, approved a slate of routine administrative and finance items and tabled a public works bid while holding an executive session on personnel.
Council members voted unanimously to approve the March 11, 2025 workshop and council meeting minutes (motions by Melissa Johnson and Elizabeth Leger). The council approved the order of the agenda and bills to be paid. The council also approved an amendment to the SDS form and authorized Valenti and Rackley to reconcile the General, Water and Sewer fund accounts.
On public works items, the council voted to table the Stillwater bid award until further notice after a motion by W.C. Smith and a second by Melissa Johnson. The council approved purchases of water tap equipment and a new water pump to be paid from SPLOST 17 funds (motions made and seconded by Melissa Johnson and Elizabeth Leger). The council also approved Judge Training expenses for 2025 (motion by Elizabeth Leger; second Melissa Johnson).
The meeting record shows all recorded motions on these agenda items passed with aye votes from the named councilmembers present; the minutes record the votes as unanimous where noted.
The council entered an executive session later in the meeting to discuss personnel matters under O.C.G.A. § 50-14-4(b) and Georgia Code § 50-14-3(b)(2) and exited before adjourning.
