Commission advances Haskell and Fairbank master plans; questions raised about solar proposal and playground timing

Victor Garofalo and staff cautioned that quoted design estimates (design-only) should not be treated as construction commitments.
Separately, commissioners discussed a proposed solar project at Haskell. Commissioner Granger Atkeson expressed concern about the lack of renderings; Commissioner Bobby Beagan questioned whether the town could build on commission‑controlled land without additional approvals. The commission agreed to defer further playground design discussion to March and invite the Commission on Disability to participate; Victor Garofalo will present the next iteration of the playground design at that meeting.
