Zoning officer reports no material change at 80 Marcy Road; town installed catch basin for runoff

Zoning Enforcement Officer Jay Gigliotti told the Chaplin Planning & Zoning Commission on Nov. 14 that he visited 80 Marcy Road on Nov. 12 and observed no material change since the previous month.
Gigliotti said photographs taken at the visit were too dark to show much detail, there were no new unregistered vehicles at the site, and a fair amount of small junk piles remained. The commission recorded that Joan Maclure had reported last month that progress on clearing the property might pause because of a family medical procedure.
Member Pete Fiasconaro asked whether the state or town had examined water running across the property. Gigliotti said the town investigated and a catch basin had been installed further down the road to help capture some of the runoff. The meeting did not record any new enforcement action or a formal order at this session.
