Sudbury Planning Board announces open house, housing round table and staffing update

At its May 27 meeting the Sudbury Planning Board heard a series of announcements from Director of Planning & Community Development Adam Burney.
Burney said an Open Space Open House will take place May 28 at the Fairbank Community Center. He also announced a Housing Round Table scheduled for June 9 to discuss the town’s housing policy and the related process going forward.
Member John Sugrue reported that a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Mass Central Rail Trail (MCRT) will be held in June. Burney told the board the Assistant Planning Director position has been filled. Burney also noted the new owner of the Bonnie Brook development may return to the board to request alterations to approved plans, and that a possible stormwater application for Boston Post Road may appear on a future agenda.
The board set future meeting dates of June 10 and June 24, 2026, and Chair Stephen Garvin adjourned the meeting at 7:50 PM.
