St. James Township approves personnel pay changes, adopts marina wait list policy and posts several bid documents

The Board also approved seasonal employment terms for Joe Johnson as Facilities Maintenance Assistant from May 4 through Oct. 30, 2026, at $26 per hour, and voted to post Marina Attendant vacancies for a two-week hiring period with wages set between $16 and $19 per hour depending on experience.
On marina administration, John Manza presented an update and the board adopted the 2026 Marina Wait List Policy (motion by McDonough, seconded by Cole). The board also approved posting three bid documents for a two-week solicitation period: Transport Millings, Aggregate Surface Course Production, and Fireworks; all three bid postings were moved by Julie Gillespie and seconded by Peirano and carried.
A proposed appointment of Ben Fogg to the Planning Commission was raised but tabled for further review. The meeting adjourned at 3:08 p.m.
