Business and Industry Cabinet schedules bylaws vote, outlines quarterly priorities for 2026

The minutes say the draft bylaws were distributed to members and that a formal vote on the bylaws — and a volunteer for co‑chair — will be taken at the next meeting on March 26, 2026.
The Cabinet reviewed its planned priority topics for 2026 and indicated general agreement with a provisional schedule: Q1 will focus on economic outlook and housing (January and March meetings); Q2 will cover sustainability, technology innovation and planning and permitting (May and July); Q3 will address legislative updates and policy priorities (September and October); and Q4 will focus on a membership survey and future Cabinet planning with a tentative December meeting.
Staff asked members to email the Staff Liaison with topics or questions they want addressed in future roundtable conversations. The minutes do not record a vote on the bylaws at this session.
