Danbury disabilities commission accepts minutes, seeks members and logs community resource tips

Commissioner John Neumuller moved to accept the minutes; Rose Marie Bouclier seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The commission reported no new phone-log calls for the month and maintained its social media status quo. Chair John Gentile reminded members the meeting was hybrid (in-person and Zoom) and asked the public to refer candidates—the commission is seeking three regular members and three alternates.
During open discussion Neumuller described an auto accident and said Enterprise Rent-A-Car provided him with an accessible replacement vehicle, an example commissioners noted as a useful private-sector accommodation. Guest Isabel Domber said she had checked the Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs discount plan and recommended it as a lower-cost option for some prescriptions; she provided the website www.costplusdrugs.com as a reference.
The commission set its next meeting for April 8, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. and unanimously approved a motion to adjourn (motion by John Neumuller; second by Rose Marie Bouclier).
