Guilford board approves educator growth plan, to submit it to state education department

Dr. Goss, who addressed the board during the review, said the revised approach is "focused on teacher growth" and called it a support plan that lets teachers "be in charge of their own learning." Committee members who helped craft the plan also described the process and aims during earlier meetings.
Board members moved and approved the growth plan for implementation in Guilford Public Schools; the board chair noted the approval will be forwarded to the Connecticut State Department of Education for review.
