"Please let this letter serve as my formal request to file for service-related disability under: Section 32-72," Greczylo wrote in the letter the board received and the chair read into the record.
Board member Jeff Tomchik moved to accept Greczylo’s request and to refer the matter to the IME process; Mayor Alves seconded the motion. The chair read the cited statute in full before the vote. The board recorded a 5-0 vote in favor; the minutes list the meeting as having been called to order at 12:07 p.m. and adjourned at 12:12 p.m.
Gabriel Rivera, listed in the minutes as the board secretary, recorded that the board had received Greczylo’s letter and two physicians’ letters as supporting documentation.
