The Winchester City Council approved, on second reading, an ordinance authorizing additional appropriations for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. Celeste Broadstreet presented the item during a public hearing and said there were no changes from the prior meeting and offered to answer questions.
After brief questions from councilors and no public comment, a motion to approve was made, seconded and adopted by roll call. President Sullivan announced the ordinance was approved.
The ordinance will be reflected in the city's financial records consistent with the appropriations authorized on second reading; detailed line items and budget changes were not discussed at length during the meeting and were not specified in the public hearing record.
