911 board approves contract renewals, policy drafting and equipment moves; phone integration approved

Members approved a list of Southern Software contract renewals for central dispatch operations, then unanimously approved (voice vote) a one-time Indigital proposal to integrate central dispatch into the county’s new phone system; the transcript records the integration cost in the packet as "$12,9187." The board also approved initiating a county 911 addressing-standards policy that will be reviewed by the 911 board and the county attorney before any final adoption.
The 911 board approved surplus and transfer actions for outdated equipment (monitors, a shredder and similar items) and transfers of usable equipment to the IT and sheriff’s offices to maximize reuse. Several motions were passed by voice vote with no roll-call tallies recorded in the minutes.
