COA sets events schedule: sheriff talk May 12, potluck contest, trips and May 1 lunch

Rybacki said supplies (water, candy, a medic bag and a wheelchair) are being brought for the Elvis trip departing the following day.
Members announced a baby-name contest tied to an upcoming potluck: photos must be submitted by April 23, and voting will be held April 28; the entrant with the most correct answers will win a cork tray prize and the winner will be revealed at the potluck. Fred O. brought a card for a band called Tommy T and the Black Velvets; Kendra has reached out to the band and is awaiting a reply, and Dee Loring said she would contact a fiddler she knows.
Karen Yvon asked whether the center should open on April 21 despite a town hall closure to hold a planned seaglass craft; members agreed to open that day. The board also scheduled an "out to lunch" at the Maple Leaf in Westfield on May 1 at noon. Dee Loring proposed that members who take donated soda contribute $0.50 per can to offset costs; members agreed.
