At its April 14, 2025 meeting, the Council on Aging board discussed arranging Meals on Wheels deliveries on days the senior center is open. Kendra Rybacki said she has contacted Meals on Wheels (Elder Services) twice and is waiting for a response from the program's new director.
Rybacki said the director asked for time to assess whether the program can add deliveries on the center's open days and noted Meals on Wheels could accommodate specific dietary needs if it is able to serve the center. Board members discussed a backup plan that Rybacki will present if Meals on Wheels cannot provide the service.
The board did not take a formal vote; Rybacki said she will follow up with the Elder Services director and report back at a future meeting.
