The authority, chaired by Coffey, opened at 8:30 a.m. and quickly approved the published agenda after a motion from Sattler, seconded by Coffey. Sattler later moved and Millard seconded approval of the Dec. 2, 2025 minutes; that motion also carried on a voice vote.
During current business, Millard reported that he had collected contract information from several potential vendors for a proposed metal hornet art piece for downtown. Coffey was assigned to contact each vendor with a scope of work to obtain cost estimates, a task recorded in the minutes as the next step on the item. Board members also reviewed the recent Holiday Block Party; the minutes note that the parade “had a lot of entries” and that the event was well attended despite rain.
