The Sudbury Zoning Board of Appeals interviewed Sumeet Keswani and voted on March 2 to recommend him to the Select Board for an associate member position for a one‑year term.
Keswani described 20 years of residency in Sudbury, a mechanical engineering degree from India, systems engineering training from the University of Maryland, and his current role as a software architect at State Street. He said he would serve pro bono, attend meetings, perform site visits, and participate when called upon as an acting full member.
Board members outlined expectations for associates, including attendance at meetings, review of materials, and compliance with town ethics and open‑meeting rules. Frank Riepe moved to recommend Keswani; the motion was seconded and passed by unanimous roll call. The recommendation will be forwarded to the Select Board for appointment consideration.
