Corning Comm School District board accepts resignations, approves multiple 2024–25 staff contracts

The Board of Education of the Corning Comm School District on Aug. 19 accepted two staff resignations and approved several 2024–25 employment contracts in unanimous votes.

The board accepted the resignation of Glenna Brandt as high school softball coach and the resignation of Jennifer Bissell as National Honor Society sponsor. Both motions were moved by Board member Stephanie Hodapp and seconded by Board member Adam Boswell; each motion passed with Yes votes from Howard Anderson, Adam Boswell, Stephanie Hodapp, Trent Roberts and Board President Staci Venteicher (5-0).

The board also approved the 2024–25 contract for Bonnie Goodson-Gibeau as High School Vocal Director-Musical and Vocal Music Director after a motion by Howard Anderson and a second by Stephanie Hodapp. Additional approved contracts (each approved by motions that recorded Yes votes from Anderson, Boswell, Hodapp, Roberts and Venteicher) include:
