The Sudbury Cultural Council unanimously approved Erica O’Brien’s proposed year-end report at its Jan. 20 meeting. Bethany Shaw moved to approve the report; Hilary Ledebuhr seconded the motion, and members voted in favor.
The committee reviewed descriptions of existing positions and discussed adding roles to spread out responsibilities for publicity, social media and events planning. Members raised the idea of creating a vice‑chair role to streamline organization. The council recorded one immediate open seat and noted that three additional seats will open in October. Members also discussed inviting local representatives to meetings to encourage greater community financial involvement in council goals.
