The most closely contested vote was the approval of PCO #014, a change order described as "paint clarifications and wall mural elevations," for $7,826.00. Stephanie Hodapp moved the measure and Howard Anderson seconded; the motion passed with Anderson, Hodapp, Trent Roberts and Venteicher voting yes and Adam Boswell voting no.

A separate motion by Howard Anderson, seconded by Hodapp, accepted Tom Rhamy’s resignation effective March 14, 2025.
Several interdistrict sharing agreements for the 2025–26 school year with Villisca Community School District were approved unanimously. The agreements cover counselor services, a human resources director, a maintenance director, transportation director duties and superintendent sharing; motions on those items were made by board members and carried unanimously according to the minutes.
The board accepted a 2025–26 HVAC preventative maintenance contract with Jones Mechanical for $11,962.00 covering the activity center and high school after a motion by Hodapp and a second from Boswell. The board also read Policy 507.9 (Wellness); the transcript records the policy reading but does not show debate or action to change the policy.
Adam Hawxby of Estes Construction provided a project update to the board; the transcript records that an update was given but does not record substantive details. The meeting was adjourned at 8:24 p.m. after a motion by Trent Roberts, seconded by Adam Boswell.
Next steps identified in the minutes include accepting submitted quotes (when received) for the concession stands and carrying the approved change order and contracts into the construction procurement and maintenance schedules.
