Zoning Enforcement Officer Jay Gigliotti presented photos taken in May and June that he said showed "measurable progress," though "a fair amount of small stuff still remains." Robert Maclure of 80 Marcy Road told the commission the property's trailers were "loaded and ready to go" and said he was repairing a truck frame so hauling could continue. He asked to meet on site with the ZEO to show what remains to be removed.
The commission discussed requiring monthly updates on cleanup progress. Helen Weingart moved to extend the stay of fines; Randy Godaire seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
The commission's action maintains the existing temporary pause on fines while the property owner documents continued removal and cleanup. The item is set for review at the Sept. 11 Planning & Zoning Commission meeting.
