On a motion by Councilmember Camarata, seconded by Councilmember Lynch, the council authorized staff to move forward with RFPs for design renderings and cost estimates; the motion passed with all present councilmembers voting in favor.
Council members did not set design specifications or a funding source at the meeting. The council directed staff to prepare and publish RFP documents and report back with proposals and budget projections at a future meeting. Council discussion noted the possibility of conducting a follow‑up survey down the road to refine community priorities.
