Old business from the November meeting about a rezoning inquiry for the property at 223 N. Main Street was brought up on Dec. 3. The council determined the Planning and Zoning Commission Board must meet in person to discuss the rezoning request, and Mayor William Cougill said he will reach out to commission members to arrange that meeting.
No change to the zoning was made at the Dec. 3 meeting; the item remains with the Planning and Zoning Commission for formal consideration. Any recommendation from the commission would return to the council for further action.
