The Early City Council on Sept. 3 adopted Resolution 24‑12 to hire Kristine Luy as Deputy City Clerk. The resolution was offered by Councilor Christine Madden, seconded by Councilor Brandon Scadden, and passed on a roll call vote with four ayes and one member absent (Tim Langner). Mayor William Cougill declared the resolution duly adopted.
Earlier in the meeting the council approved the consent agenda, moved by Councilor Becky Blackman and seconded by Councilor Christine Madden, which included approval of the agenda, minutes and bills for payment.
