The sheriff requested $58,560 for a vehicle and upfitting after several crashes; the county also sought $7,000 through the Governor's Traffic Safety Bureau grant and cited a $15,640 licensing increase for BMWAR. Cheryl said the items created $65,560 in additional revenue and $317,545 in amendment before revenue offsets.
After staff answered no questions from the public, the board voted to close the hearing and approved both the budget amendment and the necessary appropriations amendment to provide spending authority.
