Road-project engineers incorporate geotechnical report; draft expected at March meeting

Chad Katzenberger told the Deerwood City Council on Feb. 2 that the geotechnical report for the city's road project was received about a week earlier and that engineers are using the new data in the final design.
Katzenberger said he and public-works staff met last week to discuss project details and that he will return to the council at its March meeting with a draft design for approval. No action was required or taken at the Feb. 2 meeting; the item was an update on project progress.
The council did not record additional comments or votes on the item during the meeting. The council's next regular meeting is scheduled for March 2, 2026, at 6 p.m., when the draft design is expected to be considered.
