At the start of the May 5 public forum, resident Doug Peterson asked if there had been any progress on an ATV permit that the council discussed at its April 21 meeting. City Manager Tyler Franzky said he has scheduled a meeting with the police chief and the Above Ground committee to review the permit and promised to update Peterson after that meeting.
Councilman Vince Adelman noted that the city code printed on Peterson’s letter is constrained by state statute and that the statute does not specify a time frame for the matter. Mayor JT Schacherer opened the 10-minute public forum at 5:31 p.m. and closed it at 5:39 p.m.
No formal action or vote on the ATV permit was taken at the May 5 meeting; Franzky is the staff contact for follow-up.
