Crosslake EDA approves minutes, postpones vice-president election; BLAEDC and ambulance updates noted

Tyler Glynn of BLAEDC gave a brief update: the BLAEDC annual meeting is scheduled for May 7 at The Lodge at Brainerd Lakes and is free for EDA members; the program will include discussion of AI in business and networking opportunities. Glynn also noted Hockey Day Minnesota will be held in Brainerd in 2027 and that event could bring a sizable regional economic impact.
Mayor Jackson Purfeerst reported that ambulance services were "going in the right direction," according to the meeting record. Patty Norgaard attended a Zoom session on data centers and shared information about boundaries and restrictions. The meeting adjourned at 11:24 AM; the minutes were signed by Secretary Martha Steele.
