Applicant Anton Marks explained the change would make the lot configuration more continuous without affecting existing easements. Staff confirmed notices were sent in accordance with ordinance and Minnesota Statute 462 and that an on-site inspection supported the request. One adjacent property owner, Schmidt, told the commission the change was acceptable.
Motion by Vice Chair Jeff McGrath, supported by Cooper Hanning, recommended approval to the city council; all members voted aye.
Next steps: The recommendation proceeds to the city council for final action; if approved, a lot-line adjustment would be required.
