New Milford Board of Education reviews goals, adjourns special meeting

Vice Chair Eric Hansell called the New Milford Board of Education special meeting to order at 5:42 p.m. Aug. 19 at the Sarah Noble Intermediate School Library Media Center and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
The board recorded attendance: present were Vice Chair Eric Hansell; Secretary Tammy McInerney; members Sarah Herring, Dean Barile and Brian McCauley; and Mayor Pete Bass (ex‑officio). Chair Leslie Sarich, Wendy Faulenbach, Tom O'Brien and Randall Scofield were listed as absent. Dr. Janet Parlato, superintendent of schools, and Holly Hollander, assistant superintendent, were also present.
Board members discussed and reviewed the Board of Education workshop goals. The meeting minutes state the goals were reviewed but do not list specific goals or any formal amendments.
The public comment period produced no speakers.
