District awarded $250K CEN Wi‑Fi grant; facilities projects to proceed over summer

Facilities reports included that a contractor has been hired to replace or repair high school gutters and a contractor for the Hill & Plain canopy has been retained; that work is expected this summer. The RFP for Schaghticoke Middle School’s underground storage tank must be revised because the state now requires a leak‑detection device; the Larson Farmhouse RFP will address roof replacement. Board members said central office privacy and HVAC needs will be addressed with a mix of in‑house work and contracted services.
No board vote was required for the informational items; staff will return with procurement documents and timelines as contracts are finalized.
