The City of Eagle Lake Park Board recorded a resignation and adjusted its meeting schedule at its Jan. 8 meeting.
The board noted that Shane Wendland submitted his resignation and that Adyson Manske "may not be able to meet at this time;" Don Wesely said he will verify Manske’s schedule. The two vacancies will need to be filled.
Board members discussed clarifying the Park Board’s role and expressed a desire to create a mission statement to make responsibilities clear for all members. The board reached consensus to move the regular meeting start time to 7:00 a.m. on the second Thursday of each month; the minutes do not record a formal roll-call vote or a tally.
Next steps: Don Wesely will confirm Adyson Manske's availability; the board will pursue filling two positions and drafting a mission statement. No appointment actions or vote tallies were recorded in the Jan. 8 minutes.
