The Dellwood City Council took several routine actions during its Oct. 8 meeting and deferred other items for follow‑up.
Approved motions - The council unanimously approved the revised meeting agenda (moved by Council Member Deb Christopherson, seconded by Greg Boosalis). - The council unanimously approved the minutes of the September City Council meeting (moved by Greg Boosalis, seconded by Mayor Mike McGill). - The council unanimously approved the Claims & Receipts list for September 2024 (moved by Council Member Brady Ramsay).
Deferred or follow‑up items - City Attorney Richard Copeland said he reviewed the proposed renewal contract with Companion Animal Care, LLC and will send it to the Sheriff for approval and report back at the November meeting; no contract was approved Oct. 8. - Copeland said he has questions about the Joint Powers Agreement on emergency alert notifications drafted by Washington County and will seek clarification and report to the council at the November meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 7:37 p.m. after the items were completed.
