Dellwood council authorizes filing to create local Board of Appeals under M.S. 274.01

The Dellwood City Council on Oct. 8 unanimously approved a resolution presented by City Attorney Richard Copeland directing the Mayor and City Clerk to file with the Washington County Assessor’s Office to authorize the city to conduct a local Board of Appeals under M.S. 274.01.
Council Member Scott St. Martin moved to approve the resolution; Council Member Brady Ramsay seconded the motion, and the council voted unanimously to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign and file the resolution. Copeland introduced the resolution and said the filing would be made with the Washington County Assessor.
The resolution and the statutory citation (M.S. 274.01) were the only legal references discussed; Copeland handled the presentation and the council approved without conditions. Staff will file the resolution with the Assessor’s Office as authorized.
