Danielsville staff report monthly police, maintenance and finance figures

At the May 12 meeting staff provided routine monthly reports on public safety, public works and municipal finances.
Police Chief Cleve Williams reported 135 calls for service, 84 traffic stops, 67 citations, 47 warnings and 693 area checks for the reporting period.
Maintenance Supervisor Clarence Davis summarized the maintenance workload (including 5 new service connects, 8 water leaks, 72 work orders and 50 locates) and reported water and wastewater volumes: 2,931,884 gallons of water pumped and treated for the month, 1,084,497 gallons of wastewater treated, and 1,267,500 gallons purchased from the county.
Administrative Assistant Tabitha Hill presented account balances and revenue details: SPLOST $29,852.11; TSPLost $64,897.83; Police Seizure $20,247.60; Operating $393,853.07; Loan Balance $631,400.19; Water/Sewer billed $48,553.47; New connect fees $375; Reconnect fees $75; Outstanding water/sewer bills $2,014.27; Penalties $2,350; Rental income $5,140.38.
The reports were presented for council information; no further action was recorded at the meeting. The council will consider related items (paving quotes, Invoice Cloud contract, yard-sale ordinance) at the May 27 meeting as noted by the mayor and city clerk.
