Deephaven — The City Council voted May 18 to recommend awarding civil engineering design services for a new Village Hall Park pavilion and warming house to Stantec for $7,388.
City Engineer Steve Hegland outlined the work included in the proposal: engineering drawings, grading and utility plans, and contract documents needed for public bidding. Council’s motion, made by Councilmember John Studer and seconded by Councilmember Tom Erdmann, recommended awarding the design services to Stantec. The motion carried 4-0.
The pavilion is planned as a year-round gathering space and warming house intended to support park programming and winter use. Staff and the city engineer will proceed with design and prepare documents for the bidding process.
