Park board seeks pricing on pavilion hazards, warming house resurfacing and other maintenance

At the Feb. 12 meeting the Park Board requested pricing and follow-up on several maintenance and program items, including pavilion landscaping trip hazards, warming-house resurfacing, additional frisbee-golf stations and the condition of the Fraze basketball court.
A brief update on the pavilion landscaping noted that pricing is still being obtained; no contractor or cost estimate was provided. Board members asked staff to seek price estimates to resurface the warming house and to repair deteriorating concrete. Don Wesely suggested installing frisbee-golf stations in parks to introduce youth to the sport, and the board noted that the Fraze basketball court is in poor condition and is seldom used.
The board also reported that Adult programming attendees are enjoying sessions and that organizers have been bringing in good speakers. No formal maintenance contracts, budget approvals or schedules were finalized at the meeting.
