Ely City Planning and Zoning Commission approves March minutes; staff reports on leases and land inquiries

The Ely City Planning and Zoning Commission took procedural actions and heard reports at its April 16 meeting. During roll call the commission recorded members Prioreschi, Councilor Roose, Palcher and Anderson present, with White, Burke and Hernesmaa excused.
Anderson moved to approve the March 19, 2025 minutes; Palcher seconded and the motion carried. Planning and Zoning Administrator Kochendorfer reported staff work on lease agreements for parks and recreation fields and noted inquiries about city lands for sale or development. Councilor Roose told the commission that the Ely City Council had approved Andy Hill to hire a contractor to help manage trees for fire control on the east end of Miners Lake.
The meeting adjourned at 6:34 p.m. without objection.
