The Eden Valley‑Watkins School Board approved a slate of personnel and extracurricular contracts and accepted a resignation during its March 12, 2025 meeting. Those items were included on the consent agenda, which Member Jen Evens moved to approve and Member Ben Stommes seconded; the consent agenda carried unanimously.
Contracts approved include classified contracts for Carolyn Kroska and Sommer Torborg as Special Education Assistants at EVW Secondary (both effective April 14, 2025), and a series of extracurricular coach contracts: Dan Berg (Head Baseball Coach), Dave Schneider (Asst. Baseball Coach), Ryan Tri (JV Baseball Coach), Sam Oehrlein (Jr. High Baseball Coach), Heath Kramer (C‑Squad Baseball Coach), Jacob Anderson (Head Girls Golf Coach), Dave Dziengel (Head Softball Coach), Tom Jansen (Asst. Softball Coach), Mickael Maciej (JV Softball Coach), Stephanie Borscheid (C‑Squad Softball Coach), Amanda Forcier (Jr. High Softball Coach), Jason Mortenson (Head Boys Track Coach), Tyler Warren (Head Girls Track Coach), Lisa Brown (Asst. Girls Track Coach), and Holly Hansen (Assistant Track Coach). The minutes record lane/step and group/year details for many contracts.
The board approved the resignation of Annamari Rogness (.6 FTE FACS Teacher, .4 Paraprofessional, EVW Secondary) effective at the conclusion of the 2024–25 school year after one year in the district. The district office was authorized to issue a P‑Card to Joel Baumgarten.
These actions were recorded under consent items and will be implemented through the district’s personnel and business office procedures.
