Councilmember Maya Naig moved to approve the May 13, 2026 minutes, the claims report and the clerk’s financials; Councilmember Mitch Anderson seconded the motion, which passed with Councilmembers Anderson, Morgan Miller, Nichole Simington and Naig recorded as ayes and Hailey Derrickson absent.
Councilmember Morgan Miller moved, and Councilmember Maya Naig seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 18-2026, which sets the time and place for a public hearing on a 2025–2026 city budget amendment and directs publication of notice. The motion passed with the same recorded ayes and one absence.
Council discussed the city’s camera system after members noted the existing camera server is starting to fail and is a discontinued model. Councilmember Morgan Miller moved to approve updating the city cameras; Councilmember Nichole Simington seconded the motion, which the council approved.
