Commissioner Bill Daly moved to recommend approval of the rezoning and Commissioner Dave Stratton seconded. The motion carried 3-0, with Commissioners Craig Stillman, Bill Daly and Dave Stratton voting in favor; Commissioners Logan Hammel and Cynthia Thayer were recorded as absent. The commission’s action is a formal recommendation; the final decision rests with the De Soto City Council.
