Deerwood council receives routine department reports; schedules next meeting

Chief Mark Taylor noted in the police report that mental‑health calls are up. Patrick Radke of Public Works said the department received a salt/sand spreader at a cost of $1,600; the minutes note the council had previously approved up to $2,300 for the purchase. City Clerk Samantha Wodarz reported ongoing work on a website platform update and stated the city must make the site ADA‑compliant by June 1, 2026. She also noted she will attend the third and final year of clerk training May 4–8 and will miss the May 4 council meeting.
Mayor John Taylor said he will attend League of Minnesota Cities Day at the Capitol on March 8. The council scheduled its next regular meeting for Monday, April 6 at 6 p.m. and adjourned at 7:11 p.m.
