Deephaven awards geotechnical testing and construction administration contracts for 2026 street work

City Engineer Steve Hegland presented proposals and the Council approved Haugo Geotechnical Services for geotechnical testing in the amount of $30,246 and Stantec for construction administration in the amount of $335,012. The motions to award both services carried 5–0.
Councilmembers expressed that awarding both contracts would allow the project to move forward with testing and on‑site administration in advance of construction. Staff will execute the contracts and begin the scope of work described in the proposals.
