Cuyuna Lakes Chamber says it could not use auditorium PA; council asks clerk to update rental rules

Aubrey Koop of the Cuyuna Lakes Chamber told the Deerwood City Council that the chamber encountered issues hosting its banquet in the Deerwood Auditorium because it could not use the PA system.
"The main one was not being able to use the PA system," Koop said. Council members asked the city clerk to clarify what renters are allowed to use and to prepare updated rental rules and regulations for the auditorium.
The clerk will return with updated verbiage; the minutes do not record a deadline for the updated rental rules or any interim relief for the chamber’s event access. No motion was recorded to change policy at the meeting.
