The Echo City Council on Aug. 12 approved routine administrative items, including the July 9 regular meeting minutes and Resolution 2024-008 accepting donations, and passed the consent agenda covering bills, payroll and bank information. Mayor James Busack presided; Councilmen Mark Schettler and Darren Gjerset made and seconded the motions recorded by Clerk Brian Pitzl. The motions carried with Councilmen Larsen and Hanson noted as absent.
The actions were taken without extended discussion. Council members said the approvals keep routine city business on schedule and maintain regular financial oversight. The minutes and the donations resolution were approved under separate motions before the council moved to accept the full consent agenda.
No items were removed from the consent agenda for separate consideration. The council adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
